The Cornish Community Initiative (CCI) was organized in 2019 to fund projects and programs that help maintain and enhance the quality of life in Cornish, New Hampshire. In 2023, the CCI received its 501(c)3 designation as a non-profit organization. Gifts are deductible to the full extent allowable under IRS regulations. Our Federal Tax ID # is 87-4593192. The Cornish Community Initiative strives to further programs in the arts, education, public affairs, community development, historic resources, the environment, recreation, and social services.
Our current major project is the renovation of the former Cornish General Store into the new Cornish Library and Community Center. We are pleased that the town voted to accept this project.
Ongoing community activities also take place at the former Cornish General Store and around the Cornish community. Community events sponsored by CCI include puzzle swaps, pot lucks, a zero waste picnic in collaboration with the Stowell Free Library, community forums, Living a Sustainable Lifestyle Tea & Talks and game nights.

Saturday, March 30 – Joshua Hall Alternative Folk Music, 730 pm
Joshua Hall has been described as a Zen-Metal-Freak-Jazz Guru. He is a classically trained guitarist whose playing style owes as much to Barrios and Tarréga as Mustaine and Monk. He is an Alternative Folk Artist whose songs engage the listener to feel and think deeply, to find the reverence in everyday life, and to question the stories that define so much of the modern world.
